How it works
What the tool assumes
- The size or part number usually appears on the old filter's frame, on the packaging or in the manual. Copy it exactly, because filters that look alike often don't fit.
- The first reminder lands on the next due date after today, counted from when you last replaced the part. It then repeats on the interval you choose.
- Suggested intervals are starting points only. The manual, your water hardness, pets, dust and how much you use something all change the right interval, so check before you rely on one.
- Where to buy it is just a note for you. This page doesn't check links, prices or stock, and nothing you type is uploaded or saved.
Kopti keeps the part name with the item, records each change when you log it, and moves the next reminder to match.
Questions
Common questions
Where should I put the card?
Somewhere you'll see it when you change the part: inside a cupboard door, on the furnace or next to the spares. Printing on card or laminating it helps it last.
How do I add the reminder on iPhone?
Download the file in Safari, open it from the download notice or the Files app, and tap Add All. For Google Calendar, import the file from Google Calendar's settings on a computer.
I have several filters. Do I make one card each?
Yes. Print or download one, then change the details for the next. To get all your reminders in a single file, the maintenance calendar tool takes several jobs at once.
